Now there are some hardcore Kenzo fans out there who love the perfume's gentle flowery smell, and delicate bottle, and these are the people who may be slightly surprised when they look at Kenzo's new slimline masculine packaging. With a sleek silver bottle that harks back to missiles and utilitarian chic, it won't be quite what they're expecting. Created from a sake bottle, designer Kenya Hara turned it into a fragrance flask.
What lies beneath though it hearteningly familiar. This scent is a mixture of spices with a woody and amber note. It's mixed with bergamot, coriander and cardamon, as well as cedar wood to create a flowery yet masculine scent, that reflects true Kenzo Power. It will cost £50 for 125ml at the House of Fraser on August 18th.
Still, getting men to wear flowers? It's going to be a struggle...
