Now I'm a big fan of Kylie's Sweet Darling scent so I was looking forward to trying out Sexy darling, to be released on the 30th July. The bottle is a deep dark red, and the packaging reflects a much more mature woman, who is aware of her sexuality. The scent is a lot heavier as well, with a mixture of floral and woody notes. The Belle de Nuit flower and the rose are the main notes of this scent, which immediately smells really strong and fades to a more palatable fragrance.
The added mixture of pear and sandalwood becomes more apparent when you've allowed it to settle. It's probably not going to make it to the coveted place of my dresser but I am known for liking very sweet fruity scents. I can imagine a lot of people would like splashing on Sweet for day and Sexy for night.
It's nice to have Ms Minogue back in business, and she's excited as well. "With Sexy Darling I wanted to capture this {sexiness} by creating a fragrance for today's sexy, self assured woman who is passionate and playful... a woman who is seductive and sensual.."
