Lush Soaps Now Free of Palm Oil

Godmother.JPGThese days we are getting increasingly conscious about what our cosmetics contain, whether that means that they are good for your body, don't harm the environment or are ethically sourced. While Lush have always been top of the class when it comes to using natural, environmentally friendly, and ethical ingredients, it looks like they have got even better now that all their soaps are free of Palm Oil.

Due to the social and environmental concerns attached to the production of Palm Oil due to the mass global demand for the ingredient which is ravaging Indonesia's rainforests, Lush decided to use a different soap base and are now producing all of their soaps with coconut, sunflower and rapeseed oil.

This move comes with the launch of three new soaps, The Godmother, Porridge and B Scent Electro. I am absolutely loving The Godmother's vanilla based scent, and it is perfuming my bathroom beautifully too!
