Fake-Tan Trial: Palmer Cutler Mousse

Palmer tan trial.jpg

This week our intrepid tester tries out the Palmer Cutler tanning mousse. Created by Eastenders Patsy Palmer and her friend Charlotte Cutler, it looks an attractive package in a white and yellow bottle. It's designed for those with sensitive skin, but would it make a difference on our legs? Remember, we're looking for a clean colour that doesn't streak. The results were slight, but still noticeable, but what did our tester think?

She was quite impressed with colour, as it added subtle definition to the legs, and she liked how moisturizing it was. Unlike other tans she's used she said it 'wasn't as drying as normal', and that could be down to the inclusion of Vitamins A and E. Complaints were that it took a number of applications to get the desired colour, and that she really had to build up the tan from scratch. On the plus side, there was no smell, and it went on totally streak free.

It retails at £32 from John Lewis, and would be great for fake ta beginners who want a gentle colour that's easy to apply.
