Now I'm a little bit of a body lotion fiend. I love massaging myself with oils and potions, as my skin feels so much softer and smoother afterwards. I especially like lathering on something rich after I've shaved as that gives the skin an extra sheen, but with so many products on offer where do you start? Scent is always a key factor for me, as when it's right it's soo good, and equally if it's bad the pot goes into the never to be used again pile.
I'm currently loving the Body Feast Lotion, £18 from Indian Infusions as it has a really exotic scent that conjures up impressions of busy souks, scented with orange blossoms and lemongrass, with an air of mysticism and anticipation in the air. The scent rolls over the body in a wave, sinking in really quickly and leaving the skin looking very nourished.
I don't like the screw top bottle as a pump lid would have been a better way to dispense the runny liquid, but the various essential oil make up for that minor annoyance. It's full of lemongrass, wheatgerm and apple which is supposed to detoxify and moisturise the body, and once you've used this I'm betting you'll be hooked.
