Today is the 3rd day in the Red Lipstick Challenge. I feel I'm starting to learn the ins and outs of wearing red lips- finally!. Today I'm dressed demurely in a blue dress and the red lipstick gives my outfit a flash of colour. I find that lipstick really goes with attitude, and if I'm having a bad hair or bad skin day it just seems to worsen it. Eating is tricky as well, no wonder Dita just seems to exist on champagne and nothing else!
I've noticed that the red lips have made me start choosing my outfits more carefully, and heels seem to be the obvious choice. Well, these aren't exactly wait my turn patiently, stand in a long queue lips are they? They're 'Don't you know who I am, I am on the list,' lips and strangely that attitude WORKS!

The day seems to be passing a lot easier than the other, perhaps it's the darker colour, as it feels more subtle than the bright reds from Barry M and MAC. The darker colour makes me feel quite mysterious an as my colleagues have stopped exclaiming at my appearance it's easier as well.
Evening comes with surprising quickness ad I'm too a bar to meet some friends. they tell me how ell I'm looking, and say the lipstick really brings out my eyes which gives me a nice boost. Then they ask if I've whitened my teeth- I have noticed they look more sparkling with the bright colour accent, and have been double brushing with Crest Whitening to keep them in great shape.
Smoking is also out the question as I don't own a cigarette holder ad couldn't bear to get red all over a ciggie. Not that I smoke anyways, but if I did it would become an issue so I sip my drink while my mates smoke, feeling virtuous about my skin. Blotting is now my best friend and my bag is full of red stained tissues I pull out discreetly and blot away excess.
I think I'm well on the way to completing the challenge! Woo!
