We love a MAC collaboration here, so learning that they've officially joined forces with Dame Edna, queen of the droll putdown and shiny glasses caused no end of excitement in the office today. You can look forward to lovely retro packaging, gorgeous bright colours and tiny horn rimmed spectacles on every purchase! 'I'm doing this out of love -- I'm a giver," said Dame Edna, "The audience's applause was a little louder when I was wearing MAC on stage, so I was a convert. They didn't have to coerce me." I wouldn't need coercion to do a MAC line.. I'm thinking butterflies and stars for my packaging, sorry I digress.
"For us, Edna represents the counterculture that MAC is steeped in," said MAC representative. "This is a partnership that will make people stop and take notice."
So what's Edna's favourite product? It's KangaRouge, a blue-red lipstick! "A part of the kanga is this same color -- it's hopping over you and you look up and there it is. MAC has captured it. I only hope I don't I meet an excitable male kanga."
You can look forward to three lipsticks, three lip glasses and two eyeshadow trios, a High_light powder and two nail shades. They will be available Dec 26 in the USA.
