Product review: Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer

Illuminating Touch_.jpg

I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to concealers. As they're such an integral part of my everyday makeup I tend to think the more money you spend, the better. And whilst this is often the case, every now and then a budget purchase comes along that blows me out of the water.

Collection 2000's Illuminating Touch light diffusing concealing pen is one such purchase. The consistency is extremely creamy but light and it blends amazingly with the skin. The pump on the end of the pen dispenses exactly the amount of product needed so there's no unnecessary wastage and you don't end up with a gloopy face.

It's available in three shades, so hopefully will suit everyone, and as it uses light diffusing technology it can highlight and conceal (similar to the pricier YSL Touche Eclat).

I found the product worked really well, either on its own or under foundation and has definitely given me a lot more respect for the Collection 2000 brand.

£4.99 from most high street retailers.

TRUST ME - I HAVE PAID A FORTUNE FOR CONCEALERS FOR YEARS UNTIL I FOUND THIS ONE. THE ONE WITH THE SPONGE IS GOOD BUT THE LIGHT DIFFUSING ONE IS TOTALLY BRILLIANT AND A QUARTER OF THE PRICE I WAS PAYING. JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT YOU WANT, NO MESS - TRULY BRILLIANT. I PICKED SOME UP FOR £1.50 IN A CHEMIST ODDS AND ENDS BUCKET - AM NOW TOTALLY HOOKED EVEN AT £5.00
