This mascara is really nice to apply. It comes in a thick chunky looking tube and has spongy bristles all the way down the brush. The wand is coated in a thick layer of slightly gloopy colour, but when spread onto the lashes they cling to them, and give them that extra oomph. I found it really lived to its claims of being long lasting, but would recommend using a mascara wand to separate the ashes as they can get a bit clumped up.
