Tester Carly Holmes tries out an organic face mask with mixed feelings
This mask is 50 percent organic and seems to be gentle enough for those of us with more sensitive skin. One thing that isn't gentle is the smell! This pungent smelling mask is definitely one you don't want to breath in too deeply! I tried using this mask every 2-3 days and definitely felt a difference in my skin after the second application.
I did however use moisturiser after the facial mask as my skin is very sensitive and dries out quickly.
I will definitely continue to use the mask as a treat every now and then, although as a warning for those finding this in their stocking this Christmas- the pungent smell can haunt your skin all day and is noticeable to others!
The smell is not really offensive as smells go but can over power the expensive perfume you are trying to show off! I strongly suggest smelling the tub before applying to your skin.
It costs £19.55 from Neal's Yard and is created with a selection of impressive organic ingredients, including Aloe vera gel, Rose extract, Pumpkin seed oil and White tea extract.
