Beauty Bloggers love Twitter: The Top Ten you should follow!
The Twitter phenomenon is nothing new to many people, but it seems whenever the *sigh* mainstream media pick up on something, it somehow becomes this huge debate, and is greeted with the kind of fervour Facebook incited about two years after it had actually launched. Oh well. Still, there's no denying Twitter does make the day pass a little more enjoyably, even if you're only being alerted to your colleague's choice of sandwich spread.
Well I'm on Twitter and tend to update fairly regularly, but who else is worthy enough to make you hit the Follow button? There are so many great bloggers in the Twitter-sphere, but here are my Top Ten for you to enjoy.
Here they are in no particular order.
We all love her website but did you know she tweets as well? She gives lovely little updates on what she's working on, links to sites she likes and chats to other bloggers. Follow her and you'll be privy to a wealth of beauty advice and if you ever have questions she's always happy to reply.
2. The Muse
Her Twitter feed has a lot of great info! You can check up on what she's been up to, read her reviews and get insight on her life and laugh/commiserate at her troubles with dermatologists.
A great feed that combines witty asides with interesting links to articles she has written.
4. Jolie Nadine
One of the original beauty insiders has a great Twitter stream where she shares info about her daily life, and great info on her recent book launch!
5. Beaut.ie
This Irish lass has just joined, so there's pretty much zero posts far, but knowing her fab blog I'm betting this feed is going to be huge! I'm betting she won't just posts links to her site either...
A great blogger, her tweets currently follow her trying to quit smoking. Good luck girl, we're wishing you well! I also love her random asides- hey,a litter robot is a great idea!!
This is written by professional makeup artist Elke, and you can read about her lifestyle. I also love her quirky asides, as she's totally got me hooked on Seth Godin's blog!
The founder of Total Beauty has a very entertaining inner monologue, which involved walks on the beach, pets and random celeb name dropping.
One of my favourite beauty bloggers has a great Twitter account where she keeps you posted on celeb beauty, MAC launches and product reviews.
This lady provides links to her simply amazing YouTube tutorials and shows of skills with a makeup brush I can only aspire to.
I know, I know, I said top ten didn't I? I had to include this lady though as her tweets are so funny and personal and don't involve blog-post hawking (hey, we've all done it!)
