For those with dry skin, facial oils and serums provide a quick moisture boost that doesn't have the greasiness associated with a moisturiser. They seem to be everywhere at the moment, with lots of organically certified, natural and paraben-free products to choose from - and I've been really impressed by the way a few small drops of a really good oil or serum can rejuvenate the complexion.

A great way to a healthy glow, huile absolue contains virtually nothing but a lot of skin-nourishing essential oils, including rosehip, sandalwood and geranium. It smells lovely, blends easily and is perfect for aging or tired-looking skin.

Rosa Fina Intensive Radiance Face Oil
Where moisturisers disappoint, Barefoot Botanicals' Rosa Fina Intensive Radiance Face Oil (£24.95) is sheer bliss. It makes your skin feel lovely, leaves you with a nice glow, and (slightly counter-intuitively) doesn't make your skin oily. While I wasn't sold on the moisturisers from the same range, I really did like the face oil and I'd certainly recommend you check it out.

Saal organic ultimate moisture face serum
This ultra-rich serum is great for for dry skin, prematurely ageing, sun damaged skin, and is also recommended for sufferers of rosacea. I'm wearing it right now, and it has a calming, quenching effect that feels great when you've got that just out of the shower, parched skin feeling.
The beauty-boosting blend is enriched with Pomegranate Seed that's known as an anti-oxidant rich ingredient, blended with natural Vitamin E and rosehip seed oil.

Duchess Marden Damascena Rose Anti-Wrinkle Serum
This is one of the yummiest-smelling facial oils I've ever sampled! Its scent is an absolute burst of flowers that make your skin feel beautiful. I leant some to my Mum last year, and the bottle was virtually empty by my next visit - quite a triumph!
The oil contains a blend of fruit and nut oils, vitamins A and C and jojoba. I don't see any perfumes listed, so it's amazing they make it smell so nice.
