The new Twilight perfume looks familiar...wonder what Nina Ricci thinks?

The blogosphere is currently awash with posts from people who've noticed the uncanny resemblance between 'Twilight', the perfume created to coincide with the release of the movie adaptation of the bestselling novel, and 'Nina' from Nina Ricci. The Twilight fragrance (available from Hot Topic) is apparently Lavender and Freesia, yet comes in an apple-shaped bottle - apparently the 'forbidden fruit', and not dissimilar to the apple on the front of the book. Nina, on the other hand, combines lemon and lime with apple, toffee, white cedar and all kinds of other yummy sounding things in a slightly more sophisticated scent.

Though I enjoyed the book, I know which fragrance I'd prefer...

Can they not come up with something more original than knocking off an already well known scent and packaging?
I'm peeved as Nina is one of my fav fragance and I love the bottle, and it's been ripped off:(

Cartier has an insanely similar bottle as well.
But what do you expect? They're trying to milk as much out of the movie as possible, and the book had an apple on it. Come on.
