Hooray! A new MAC Limited Edition collection has hit our shores. It's easy to be tempted by MAC's limited collections - colours with inventively themed names, rarity value, and the exciting new product formats. Best of all, I like the collections that have their own distinctive packaging - from 2007's pearly-white Moonbathe to last year's bright electro orange Neo-Sci-Fi.
Style Warrior combines all these things and more - the packaging is a bronze gold colour with leopard and zebra print accents overlaid with tribal pattern designs. It's a summery, bold look with a hint of 70s disco glamour, guaranteed to brighten up your makeup bag.

The eye, lip, nail and face colours have military-esque names like "Night Manoeuvres", "Soft Force" and "On a Mission" - there's a range of neutrals and nudes with a bright punch of colour here and there like Vibrant Grape eyeshadow, "Violet Fire" nail lacquer and bright magenta "Fierce and Fabulous" lipglass. Especially alluring are the frosted lipsticks - beige-gold "Sunsational" looks like it would be really distinctive when used to add highlight to a darker lip colour.
There are also limited edition products not available in the regular MAC line. Luster Drops are a liquid bronzer that's water-based for a light-wearing pearly shine. Available in three shades - "Pink Rebel.", "Bronze Hero" and "Sun Rush", Luster Drops come in a squeezy bottle that sadly lacks the printed and patterned packaging, but looks agreeably practical.
And there's a welcome return for Solar Bits, another bronzing option with a new twist. These are a bit like MAC's famous pigment line, but are larger chunks of pigmented shimmer that can either be swirled with a brush and applied as bronzer, or crushed to create an intense shade for eyes or lips.
Finally, round out your look with Skinsheen Leg Spray, another limited edition product to help your golden pins match your gilded visage. Delightful!
