St Tropez launches new cosmetics range in the UK

With weather as unpredictable as ours this summer, the only truly safe and reliable way to get a golden glow is out of a bottle. And thanks to tanning geniuses St Tropez, there's no shortage of heavenly pampering products to help you achieve the perfect bronzed look for your face and body. This month, they release another string to their golden bow - a cosmetics range to complement sunkissed skin tones.

There are three products in the new St Tropez cosmetics range, each designed to complement and enhance the beauty of tanned skin through multi-purpose application.

New Bronzing Rocks (£30), pictured here, are solid "chunks" of pigment, suitable for lips, eyes, or face. For an all-over glow, you can swirl your brush in the square jar to pick up a light dusting powder to apply to the skin. Alternatively, pick out one of the rocks and apply directly for an intense hit of colour. Sweep over the eyelids for a sultry "goldeneye" look, or mix with clear lipgloss to add a gilded finish to your pout.

Radiance Mousse (£25) is a light-weight highlighter with a golden shimmer to enhance the appearance of a tan and to draw attention to the cheekbones and brows, or even to add definition and sheen to the legs, decolletage and shoulders. Like the Bronzing Rocks, the Mousse comes in a small sturdy square jar, and is best applied with the fingertips, according to the guide on the St Tropez website.

Finally, a Bronzing Powder (£20) completes the range. While this one's not such a new idea, you can be certain that coming from St Tropez it will be exceptionally well pigmented and finely milled. It contains a hint of shimmer, and comes in a mirrored compact bearing the St Tropez logo. Just one shade is available, but it's a mid-toned hue that should be suitable for most skin tones given the right kind of application.
