London Fashion Week has closed its hallowed curtains on another season, yet Autumn is just beginning. As well as golden leaves, roasted chestnuts and shorter hemlines (with coloured tights, obv) comes a new range of products that allow one to adapt for the changing temperature. DSqaured2 is the creation of Dab and Dean Catten, Canadian haute couture designers who have made the move into the cosmetic world. They've teamed up with MAC to create a collaboration of inspired colours and textures, that are perfect for Autumn.
The collection includes two Greasepaint sticks (£13) in Bright Yellow Blue and Bright Blue Violet which will allow one to really get into the party vibe, as it's easily blendable and adjustable to different looks,
I'm really drawn by the Sculpt and Shape powder(£16.50) which is a great way to both mattify and contour- in one. I like how it uses matt pigments in the contouring, as that works well for the darker Autumn night s and think the shades on offer will have universal appeal.
There's also two attractive new lipstick shades available- Nude Rose ( a sheer neutral pink) and Blood Red ( a clean deep berry) which I think will be well received.
All products available from October at MAC.
