Here's a sad piece of news for lovers of Lush spinoff B: Never Too Busy to Be Beautiful. The company has announced that all stores will be closing at the end of the year, and that Lush will be absorbing the business to retain the assets. Following the news of Prescriptives' demise last month, this is yet another beauty casualty - suggesting that the industry might not be as 'recession proof' as we first thought.
Two years ago I attended a truly fabulous party courtesy of Lush where I had my eyes decorated with fabulous glitter eyeshadows from the 'B' range - converting me from someone who thought she 'couldn't' wear glitter to a full on eye sparkle diva! The company's sense of fun was infectious, and I for one will be sad to see them go. Looking on the bright side, there are bound to be bargains to be had in B's stores, and staff are just as keen as ever to prettify you for the party season. And remember, all products will soon be collectables...wanna go shopping? ;)
