Few could forget Sarah Miles' admission that she drank her own urine to promote healthy skin, or the raised eyebrows caused by Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's alleged use of hemorrhoid cream to deter wrinkles. But when we examine the contents of our own beauty cabinets, all sorts of odd ingredients can be unearthed - and many of us have been guilty of indulging in beauty-giving pursuits whose benefits may not have been based on firm scientific evidence at some point in our lives.
Today though, I want to know what 'weird' beauty practices you've tried - and in particular - which ones have worked. Mine are pretty pedestrian: I sometimes prefer a dab of lipstick on my cheeks instead of blusher, and I swear by a salt bath at least once a week to keep my skin healthy. But I'm sure there are stranger ones out there. Let us know in comments just how weird you are!
