Ohhhh holiday, not only are you my favorite time of the year, you are my favorite makeup season. And I have been aesthetically binging on pictures from the MAC Cosmetics holiday collection all afternoon. MAC manages to really reinvent holiday every year, with a pleasingly festive color palette and suitably sparkly campaigns and packaging.
Shown above is the Magic, Mirth and Mischief Collection. It's meant to evoke "Unstuffy parties, impromptu rendezvous, the informal chic of Festive Fantasia or an intimate evening a deux."

This collection includes lots of gifting ideas: three brush bags each going for $49.50, two lip bags that each include a lip stick, Dazzleglass and a lip pencil for $36, and two eye bags with a pigment, Fluidline, Zoom Lash mascara, and an eye liner brush, also $36.
There's also some new lip, eye and face kits. Some people find palettes annoying - like there are always colors or products they don't end up using. But personally I love them and they're generally my favorite part of holiday collections! I'm particularly loving the four eye kit options which each include six shadows for $36. The lip kits offer two lip sticks and lip glass for $22.50, and face kits feature three powders for cheeks and highlighting for $38.
