Let it be known that I'm not advocating any form of binge-drinking in this post (although I did enjoy a couple of glasses of champagne during the treatment!) Instead, I'm referring to the new semi-permanent lash extension service being offered at Nails Inc, which will give you long and lustrous lashes that last up to a week.
We've all worn false eyelashes to parties, hen nights and dressing up dos, but these are a little different in that they're applied professionally, avoiding the weird angles and kinks that most of us create while sticking on take lashes - and they last much longer. There's a choice of thicknesses and styles, and the procedure takes all of about 10 minutes. I had a fairly natural-looking set glued to my lids, and it was great to wander around with fuller, thicker lashes that framed my eyes and added a bit of easy glamour for the best part of a week. I found they began to fall out after that, and it was easy to pull out the remaining ones myself.
A set of eyelash extensions with professional application costs £30: For a full list of services, visit Get Lashed.
