Originally I wasn't going to review this product. partly because I wasn't sure how many words I could write about a deodorant stick, and secondly because I was unsure how interested anyone else would be in the review of one. But this particular stick excels in all areas, so I decided it was worth sharing this with the world.
To start with, I want you to know how generally opposed I am to all types of roll on deodorant. Eversince my Mum was convinced I wouldn't resort to solvent abuse, it was out with the 'Mum' roll-on, and in with Sure spray on. Since then I've somehow convinced myself that roll-ons are a melting pot full of pongy germs, and generally find the concept quite icky.
The Verbena Cooling Stick was different though, packaged in an inoffensive light lime tube, the tip still resembles the dreaded roll-ons of yore. But the scent- the scent was zingy, fresh, sparkling notes. It was invigorating and uplifting, and it only got better. When rolled onto the skin it produced an unusual cooling effect, much like running a fridge cold can of Coke under your underarms, and sent a nice tingle up my spine, Unless it's the dead of Winter, I imagine this would always be a pleasant sensation, and this 50g stick is 100% paraben and alcohol free as well.
Need more convincing? As it's not a liquid you can carry it on planes as hand baggage! Score!
