You may well have heard me whinging in the past about how many organic and 'natural' hair products smell herby, heavy and in no way fresh. For a while, it seemed that this was part of the course for eco-friendly wash stuff, and that anyone wanting to live like a hippy had to smell like one, too.
However, things have come on leaps and bounds with brands like Santaverde and now Organix, whose products are positively bursting with fragrant freshness. I sampled their Pomegranate and Green Tea shampoo: a really juicy-smelling wash that's especially good for dry hair. It had that revitalising quality about it that's absent in so many other organic products, and left my hair feeling thoroughly clean. I followed it up with Tea Tree and Mint conditioner, which was intensely minty fresh, and left my scalp tingling. Great for a product that contains no parabens, sulphates or other chemically questionable ingredients. Yum!
