K&M Chat: what do you put in your bath?

relaxing-bath.jpgIt's terribly unfashionable to admit it, but I'm a real bath person. Showers are an optional extra for me: an attachment on the taps is all I need to get cleaned up after a proper, indulgent soak. I'll be moving house in a month, and the first thing on my 'must have' list for a potential property (after bedrooms and a front door) is a well-sized bath tub.

For this reason I've become quite an expert on bath oils, bubbles and bombs in my time (and remember bath pearls? They were huge once). But my all time favourite bath ingredient is basic table salt, because it cleans out every nook and cranny of the skin so very efficiently - and it heals wounds double-quick as well. I'm surprised that so few people realise that if you have sensitive skin, itchiness, scratches or spots, adding salt to a warm bath is the simplest and most effective way to skin the looks and feels healthy.

What are your secrets to a great bath, and have you found a new product that helps you enjoy soaking even more? Answer below!
