Product review: Givenchy Photo'Perfexion Fluid Foundation SPF 20

Photoperfexion - rights unlimited.jpg

Choosing the right foundation is a monumental task, as what looks good in the store may look absolutely awful when you step into natural light. Then there's the issues of photographs to deal with- no one wants a foundation that will have them looking shiny and sweaty, and all to often powerful cameras are great at picking up blemishes you thought were well covered.

Givenchy's Photo'Perfexion foundation solves these problems with its unique formula which manages to give radiant coverage whilst concealing dull areas and blemishes. It does this by including silica beads and mica in the formula which gives they say gives the skin a 'blurring effect' and I find makes my complexion look flawless in photographs.

The foundation is displayed in an attractive frosted glass bottle with an easy to use pump dispenser. Fluid is easily pumped onto the hand, and it has a light creamy texture. It feels very velvety when applied to the face and the feeling last throughout the day with my boyfriend commenting on how soft my cheeks felt.

The finish is quite sheer and satiny, so you may need to top up with powder to avoid looking to shiny. I really liked how it spread on evenly and a little seemed to go quite a long way. It also contains SPF20 which is a plus side, and it does this whilst still being incredibly light.

I really liked the luminous finished as the face looks very dewy-approachable and natural, epitomizing the whole 'I'm not wearing any makeup' trend. I think this is going to be my saviour through the coming cold months!

There are 7 shades available, and I tried it in 01- Perfect Ivory. It costs from £26 at all good stores.
