Not so long ago I mentioned that I'd discovered that Cindy Crawford had released a skincare line called Meaningful Beauty. I've been trialing products for a few weeks now and am ready to give you my verdict on the line. The products I tried were from the Meaningful Beauty 30 day introductory kit which comprises of miniature versions of the most popular products in the range. Here's my verdict on the ones that I tried.

Meaningful Beauty Skin Softening Cleanser

This cleanser had a really nice creamy consistency and felt very gentle on the skin. It was very pleasant to use, and left my face feeling really soft afterwards. However, it's perhaps best used in the morning as I needed two washes at night to remove all my makeup.

Meaningful Beauty Maintenance 1 Day Moisture

This cream contains SPF8 which is so low that it's almost not worth including it in the product. However the cream feels really velvety to touch and sinks in extremely quickly. I was impressed by how it made my skin feel instantly smoother, and I liked the fact that the pump dispenser released a small amount at a time, so I didn't waste any product.

Meaningful Beauty Maintenance 2 - Night Fluide

This cream contains Vitamin A to brighten the skin, and I really enjoyed the feeling of it on my face. Whilst the cream was light, it felt really rich when it was applied. It wasn't particularly intensive however, but it did give me a slight boost.

Meaningful Beauty Eyes- Eye Crème

The eye cream was really light and I applied it morning and night. It sank in really quickly but I didn't notice any effect at all- it was pretty much just the same as applying moisturizer to the eye area.

Meaningful Beauty Décolleté and Neck Crème

I really liked the texture of this product as it felt extremely pleasant on the chest and neck area. I felt instantly smoother after one application, and when used overnight I woke up to a very soft chest, which was much appreciated by the boyfriend.

The Verdict

The range includes some impressive products, whilst others left me less than enthused. I'd definitely recommend using the cleanser and Décolleté and Neck Crème, and the moisturizers are also extremely pleasant. I also liked the fact that the starter kit was very travel friendly, as all the products were under 100ml, and they last for ages. Invest in the cleanser- and think about trying the rest if you enjoy that.
