Product Review: Avon superExtend mascara
I'm a serious mascara junkie but when the Avon superExtend mascara popped onto my desk I was initially unimpressed. Sure the tube looked nice and chunky, and the design was sleek and minimalist but the brush was a rather delicate looking yellow wand, and I thought it wouldn't be able to give my lashes the volume I desired.
How wrong I was! One application left generous amount of formula on my lashes, and the yellow brush was flexible enough to make sure every last lash was coated and stood on end. Two coats gave me the dramatic look you see above, semi spidery lashes, but extremely long and dramatic, and I really love they attention they draw to my eyes.
The wand is slightly rubberized which allows it to really get into the root of the lashes, and it coats them in a really nice dark pigment. The colour was quick drying and easy to build up and they didn't smudge all day. It was also really easy to remove with makeup remover, and I didn't need to tug at my eyelids to get it all off (something I really hate doing).
I'm very impressed with this mascara, and think I'm now going to explore more of the Avon range.
