We love MADARA round here: all products we've tested so far from the award-winning, eco-friendly range have been instant hits, as they're both a joy to look at and a joy to wear. So I was almost scared about trying their lip gloss, which had an awful lot to live up to. I'm not a bit lip gloss fan in general, and have not yet found one I want to wear enough to stop it getting lost in the depths of my handbag. In fact, I should probably have a special pocket installed for discarded lip glosses I didn't like...
But I need not have worried: MADARA's new lipcare range more than lives up to the quality of previous products, and is going to be essential wear for the summer. I tried the 'Sunkissed' shade of Deco Lips tinting lipgloss baume, which is in fact a reformulated version of MADARA's earlier ecolips product: a balm/tint I loved, but I much prefer the easy-squeeze application and free flowing consistency of the new formula.
The colour is ideal for summer; a subtle, bronzy tint that gives lips light tone and warm gloss without the tacky, jelly-like glaze that many of us associate with lip gloss. I found it blended in perfectly with my natural lip colour, while enhancing their hue. It smells divine with a sweet citrussy note, and being made from all natural ingredients selected for their nourishing properties, really helps keep the lips looking well conditioned and kissable!
