Product Review: Organic Surge Superintensive Daily Moisturiser

A key ingredient in this moisturiser is organic rose geranium oil, and depending on how scented you like your products this will either put you firmly in the fan or hater zone. The scent is light but distinctive as the notes waft up your nose the instance you open the pot. When applied to the skin it leaves a delicate fragrance that last the whole day, and I woke up in the morning to find my sheets softly imbued with rose essence.

The cream feels velvety to touch and sinks instantly into the skin, with no greasy residue. The face feels instantly softer and I like the way that it reduces the feelings of tightness in a vigorously exfoliated face. It works well for daily use, and I also like using it as a night cream, by applying a slightly thicker layer in the evening.

The ingredients list is impressive as it contains Green Tea, Cocoa butter and Grapeseed Oil, as well as Aloe Vera to nourish and hydrate the skin.

The pot is surprisingly weighty, as the base is created out of glass, which is initially a surprise as you expect something lighter and plasticky, given the low price point. The glass gives the cream a feeling of quality though, and it's nicely presented.

Organic Surge skincare is created with no sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate or parabens and uses blends of organic essential oils with natural ingredients to give your skin a treat.

I really enjoyed using this product as it seemed to react very positively with my skin, and it worked really well as a hand cream to- so it's pretty versatile.
