Product Review: Stargazer Eyeshadows

stargaer shadows.jpg

I've recently rediscovered Stargazer products, and not only do I find they far surpass my youthful impressions of them, but these cheap as chips products (seriously, most stuff is under a fiver) have now pride of place in my makeup bag! I've recently been trialling their eyeshadow range and find I am extremely impressed, both with their vast colour range, and how highly pigmented all the shades are.

As seen in order in the swatched picture:

Pink Pout
Peach Flush
Envy Green
QuickSilver
Copper Fire

I couldn't actually find these shades on their retail site, but all their shadows are £3 each, so these are probably the same.

The Envy Green and the Pink Pout were my particular favourites as they were incredibly pigmented, giving a thick wash of colour to the skin, that lasted all day. The colours were vibrant, and almost fluorescent in shades, and were very versatile, as they were easy to blend for a layered look. The packaging is simple, if a little on the cheap looking side, and you do have to be careful how you handle them, as an accidental drop caused my beloved Pink Pout (which is actually a fierce red) to reduce into powder.

If you're looking for a bright funky look, and want a cheap but effective shadow, you'd be crazy not to consider these beauties!

Check out Stargazer here.

    Hi

I remember Stargazer from when I used to visit Camden Market- interesting to think that my favourite goth products are now suitable for adults. Next time I'm in town I think I'll pick up some- partly for nostalgic reasons, and partly because I like the look of that peach colour.
