Clinique have seriously perfected their marketing strategy for their latest line-up of products, well, enough to reel me in hook line and sinker anyways. Entitled' Bigger Brighter Eyes' their six piece strong range is designed to help whiten and lighten the eye area, as well as accentuate the eyes and lengthen the lashes. As the eyes are the main thing I concentrate on (after face, obv) this is very intriguing to me, and I love the fact that they've included a brow pencil in their line-up, as brands often downplay the importance of having groomed brows as well as stylish eyes.
One of the most exciting parts of the collection is their new mascara (as I LOVE Clinique mascara's) which is called 'Limited Edition High Impact Mascara'. This follows on from their lash lengthening High Impact product, and imbues it with a 'Brightening Black' shade, which they day will help bring out the whites of the eyes. This is going on my must try list.
There are also four new shades of Quickliner for eyes, a creamy twist up eyeliner, with a smudging brush on the end. The shades are designed to reflect the collections Intense eye shading, as each one is named 'Intense.. (Black, Plum, Chocolate and Coffee).
You also get six new shades of their lip smoothies, and three new Colour Surge Eye Shadow duos in Beach Plum, Like Mink and Blackberry Frost. As I've already mentioned I was pleased with the inclusion of the 'Instant Lift for Brows', and the dual ended tool is great for sculpting impressive looking arches.
My favourite so far would be the new shades in the Quick Eyes Cream Shadow Collection, as the ones I've tried (Truffle and Sparkling Nude) settled well on the eye, and dried without creasing. The light colours also really accentuate my blue eyes, and this is now my go to 'nude coloured' staple.
The Clinique Bigger Brighter Eyes Collection will be out from the 1st August 2010.
