Face washes are one of those products that all beauty addicts seem to have a strong opinion on. Some prefer a foamy wash, others dislike the mess, and most of us gravitate towards a particular range. One thing that seems to stay relatively constant about facial washes, however, is the smell: the all tend towards the fresh, slightly cumcumbery and light.
The first thing I noticed about Naked Skincare's 'In The Buff' wash is that it smells like no other product I've ever put on my face. In fact, I thought I'd opened a bottle of cookie dough when I first slapped it on! It really does have the sweetest, richest scent ever, with a hint of gingerbread. I find it rather lovely. But how well does it do its job?
For someone with dry/combination skin like me, it works pretty well. Although it does contain exfoliating beads, these are made from naturally soft jojoba, and designed to melt into the skin. This nicely avoids that sandpapery scratch you find in many products at this price range. Instead, it leaves the skin feeling cleansed, fresh AND moisturised, which for me is a winning combination.
