WAG Beauty Hero: Christine Bleakley

We love a stylish celeb here at Beauty Now, and considering we're celebrating WAG Week (sponsored by BrandAlley) we're looking at the best of the beauties. We're crowning Christine Bleakley, partner of Frank Lampard our WAG Beauty Hero. At 31 years old, Christine dresses with style and dignity, eschewing glittery mini dresses for stylish frocks, and we love how she is constantly playing with different shades on her face. Whether she is going heavy on the liquid liner or loving the natural look, she epitomizes fashion and style, and makes us proud to call her a WAG.

I'm a fa of the fact that she seems to love wearing her hair up, as it's refreshing to find a WAG who says no to hair extensions, and her natural colouring shows that fake tan would be wasted on her. Her smile is her biggest asset, and we see it so often that we think she is really happy with herself and her life, which is the most beautiful thing of all.

I think you will find she needs to be stripped of her crown, she has joined the rest of them and is no longer the natural beauty. Doesn't take long to join the band wagon ?!

    Hi Zara,

good point made that she does at least have a job and therefore a career before she started dating a footballer.

There was a piece in the Mail yesterday about a young woman called Kirsten who almost lost her sight from a detached retina. She has apparently entered the Simple Competition and I think it would be really great if someone like her is given a chance to be the face of a top beauty brand; after all with her £1m package someone like Christine hardly needs the money. Anyway I have voted for Kirsten, known as 'Freeflychix' on the website and I really hope lots of people enter as this really is an opportunity to show that normal people are worth considering. How much are No7 paying Keeley Hawes I wonder?

  • Hi Ann,

I understand what you mean- a WAG isn't really something people should attain to be, and is a by product of our celeb culture. However at least she DOES work and have a real career and her style is more glamorous than Page 3, which is a plus point.

Lets hope she keeps her natural beauty - I think at least she has a career in her own right before becoming a WAG. Would she look so good if she had kids to juggle and worked full time at least the Simple campaign promotes flexible working patterns for use real mums. Good Luck to Christine on ITV

At least Christine still looks pretty natural. It will be interesting to see how her style changes now she is going to ITV to earn millions.

That for me is one big challenge; how someone like her who is admired suddently earns far, far more than the average person and ends up paying out to maintain their looks (though Katie Price is showing us that all that botox is ruining her looks). Why do we admire people just on looks alone? Dove have campaigned for real beauty and now Simple want a normal person to promote their brand. I worry about young girls who think aspiring to be a celebrity is a career move and Christine is getting more attention as a WAG than anything else.....
