There's something very likeable about Cat Deeley, maybe it's how down to earth she is despite her fame, or how honestly excited she gets about yoga and literature, but you can't help warming to the girl- even after she had revealed that she has a dinner date that night with Matthew Williamson. Sigh. She's a great choice for the new face of Pantene as her hair is long lustrous, and completely extension free. A source told us that Pantene has strict rules about the models they use in adverts, so whilst Cat may get the full makeup up works (not that she needs it) every single strand of honey streaked brown hair is all her own.

She has been brought in to front the new 'Make a Swissh campaign' which is the new campaign for Pantene's Pro-V Aqua Light range. The range has been formulated to combat the heavy feeling that some women get when they use conditioner and it's intended to make conditioning your hair an easier lighter task. Research they undertook revealed that many women were forgoing conditioner as it made their hair to heavy! As a conditioning addict, I find that that hard to believe, but it must be true- they've created a whole product line around it!

Cat said: "Has your hair ever felt so good you can't help but swish it? - you know that elusive 'swish', when hair moves perfectly. It's that beautiful, healthy looking, enviable hair that we all want - that's what you get with new Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light."

The Aqua Light range features a shampoo, conditioner, rinse off treatment and leave in treatment spray. I particularly like the leave in spray as its adds moisture to the hair whilst still allowing it to feel fresh on the shoulders. The range has limited silicone in the products- to make it lighter- and feels great to use, rinsing off cleanly and leaving the hair fresh and light.

Available at Boots, all for under £5.
