Brown shadow gets a bad, boring rap. Most of the time it's relegated to your neutrals palette for conservative, less-is-more looks. Well, brown shadow gets to go to the party with Three Custom Color's Party All the Time. The rich chocolate shade with bronze undertones and plenty of opalescent sparkle is a collaboration with makeup artist Marissa Fazzina.
"As soon as I was asked to create a shade for the line, I knew exactly what I wanted it to be," she said. "I know, and you can ask other makeup artists out there, it's almost impossible to find a brown eye shadow with the right mix of added sparkle."

• Dampen a small, densely packed eye shadow brush (Try: Three Custom Color Specialists Detail Eye Shadow Brush, $26.50).
• Work the eye shadow onto the eye lid, from lash line to crease, while it's moist.
• Take a moment to let the eye shadow dry, and blend the edges, sheering the shadow to the brow bone to soften.
• For an even sultrier look, line the eyes and inner waterline with a crème eye liner (Three Custom Color Specialists Opaline Crème Eye Definer, $22.50) and apply lots of mascara!
