Bold brows and long unstructured hair were the key beauty trends at this years PPQ show, as the models strutted down the catwalk with glossy just brushed hair, with the slightest hint of frizz. This nod to natural style was echoed in their flawless makeup, which consisted of a fresh faced base, with minimal contouring and muted eyeshadow on the eyes.

The eybrow has been accentuated with heavy contoruing and extra hairs drawn in, to give the models a fierce tribal look, which is softened with their floaty, flyaway hair. The bodies also adhere to the pale but majestic look, but with some added definition, courtesy of Fake Bake.

They have helped create something called a 'Mannequin tan', which is about achieving a perfectly smooth, glossy texture with a subtle glow.

James Read says, "Skin has to have a high definition finish, an airbrushed texture. But most importantly, when you've got such high hemlines, bold colours and extreme prints, the tan has to sit back and take it," he explains. "It can't compete with the clothes by being really dark or intense - it has to work with the collection by perfecting the skin. You want the areas on show to gleam under the lights of the cameras. So the Mannequin Tan was the best compliment to PPQ's SS11 collection."
