Nobody ever wants to be photograpjed next to Alexa Chung, due to her slyph like proportions and extreme beauty, but when meeting her at the launch for the Lacoste Joy of Pink fragrance, it's hard to say no. I managed Ok though, right? You can't even tell I'm sucking in my stomach?
I had a lovely chat with her about her work for Lacoste Joy of Pink, and she told me how she had a great time filming the advert. 'The reason I'm in the backseat of the car is that I can't drive!' she revealed. 'I simply haven't got round to that yet'.
The star shared her beauty secrets as well, and told us how she was prone to some naughty behaviour. 'I often leave my makeup on at night', Alexa said. 'I'm very relaxed. I don't wash my hair that often or wear much makeup'.
She does have some good points though, beauty wise. 'I love to moisturise she said, anything oxygenating is great, I can't get enough of the stuff'.
So who does she admire style wise?
I don't really have a style', she said, 'I suppose I'm a bit Geek chic and preppy, I like black eyeliner and sixties style makeup. My icons are all men though- Cliff Richard is a star of mine. Maybe it's because I sound like a man- so husky and not uplifting!'
She was a real pleasure to chat to, and her refreshing unpretentious attitude and chilled out vibe was contagious.
