olive oil hand cream.jpg

Holland and Barrett isn't the first place you might think of when it comes to skincare- but this is a misconception it would be great to address. They currently stock a 125 piece range from Dr Organics (alongside their other beauty products), and this is a range you'll want to pay attention too., Comprised of products that feature organic and natural ingredients, everything is paraben and SLS free.

I've been trialling out the Dr Organic's Virgin Olive Oil hand and nail cream, and am very impressed. Not naturally a fan of anything olive (and yes, I know that oil isn't the same, but associations are hard to get rid of), I have found the cream a fantastic product. I work in an environment which has very heavy air conditioning, and my hands were starting to crack on the hour, every hour, Other hand creams hadn't been up to the task, but this product somehow smoothed the skin and kept it soft and supple.

The cream penetrated immediately, leaving no sticky residue, and I could type within twenty seconds of application. It felt really nice to apply, a thick consistency that wasn't too milky and was unscented. I'm very particular about my smells, so the fact that it was inoffensive is a great plus point to me. One tube goes a really long way, and I like the fact that you can squeeze it out, as that's more hygienic- and means you'll get every last drop. The price is impressive as well!
