A big fan of Benefit makeup products I received the Bella Bamba blush with some trepidation. I love so many of their other blushers I wasn't sure Bella Bamba would be able to find a place in my collection. Was it a daytime blush? An evening glow? A good way to contour? The description, 'a watermelon blush with shimmering gold undertones' sounded nice but what did it mean?
The Bella Bamba blush came in the traditionally cute Benefit box with a quirk. Encased in the lid a little mirror, which makes it easier to apply on the go, and a neat way of ensuring the lid stays attached as it's hinged.
The colour itself is lovely, a beautiful shimmering peach, with light gold flecks in it, that gives the complexion a great fresh look. What's so lovely about this is that the shade works universally- I've seen it on dark and pale skins and to each it has complemented them, giving a lovely radiance and a brightness to the skin It's a great pick me up colour, subtle yet not invisible and would be good for day or night.
You can apply it in one fine sweep, or layer it for a more dramatic look- love it!
