For Aquascutum's AW11 London Fashion Week show, models - probably tired and dehydrated from all that styling - hair was transformed into sleek, gorgeously soft looking sheets, parted straight down the middle for a seventies feel, suggesting that the trend will carry through the Summer into Autumn.
Just look. That is touch-me hair if you ever saw it, right?
Sam McKnight, Pantene Pro-V Global Stylist Ambassador, talked about his inspiration for the look, saying "I was inspired by the iconic fashion and fragrance advertising campaigns of the '70s, and the type of woman who typified that independent '70s career woman who breezes through life."
If you want to know how to get this look, check after the cut for Sam's instructions.
Also, can we just say how much we've loved all the accessible, low maintanance hairstyling at London Fashion Week this season? What did you think of it?

You'll need (shop all products here):
• Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect and Volume Shampoo
• Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect and Volume Conditioner
• Pantene Pro-V Volume and Body Magnifying Mousse
• Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect Instant Nourishing Spray
• Pantene Pro-V Volume and Body Magnification Spray
Start with freshly washed and conditioned hair.
For highly coloured apply a heat protection spray such as Pantene Pro-V Colour Protect Instant Nourishing Shine Spray.
Work Pantene Pro-V Volume and Body magnifying mousse through damp hair, then blow dry using a round brush to create a perfect blow dry; straight but not too straight with slight movement at the ends.
Next, take sections of hair, roll around your fingers and then clip in place. Repeat this over the entire head.
Leave the style to set for at least 20 minutes. Unroll the clipped sections and brush the hair through with a soft bristled brush. Let the hair fall in to a natural centre parting.
Finally, use Pantene Pro-V Volume and Body Magnification Spray to hold the volume on the crown of the head.
