There was really only one overall beauty trend on the Oscars red carpet last night - actresses matching their lipstick to their gowns!
Ceremony host Anne Hathaway sported a flush of bright fire engine red to match her Vera Wang gown, Cate Blanchett wore a pale pink shade that matched her controversial Givenchy couture gown, and Scarlett Johansson wore a deep berry shade to match her magenta lace Dolce and Gabbana dress, and that's just to name three (others included Jennifer Hudson in orange, Sandra Bullock in red and Halle Berry in nude).
