Illamasqua have revealed their Toxic Nature Collection for Spring/Summer 2011, and it's awesome.
They're following the pastel and brights trend too, but have done it in a way that only Illamasqua can, giving it a gothic twist. The collection was actually inspired by the ash cloud disruption from last year, resulting in a concept of "nature fighting back against the genetically modified society that plunders it."
Cream pigments (by the way, one of the PR girls had this streaked through her hair), nail polish, lipstick and lipgloss comes in shades of mint, mushroom, plum, orange and rose, all distorted with an ashy undertone.
The cream pigments really are amazing, buildable and blendable, I especially loved the grape-coloured shade 'Mould'. The new Precision Ink in Glister is really great too - they've described the taupe-y liner as the 'anti-liner' - and it has admirable lasting power - really does not move once it's on.
There are five new nail polishes too, including an acid lime green (which I'm wearing right now and you can check out after the cut), bright orange and darker ash and mauve colours too.
All in all, really great collection, and I can't wait to start using the cream pigments. It'll be avalible from mid March 2011 online.
