I tend to be very dubious about brand/charity products. Sure, it's great to support causes, but all the free advertising in return for 10% of sales seems rather icky to me (have a guess at what I'm referring too..). Here, 100% of profits (minus VAT) goes to the Prince's Trust charity, and that's something we can all get behind.
The red limited edition Trust lipstick will be sold on QVC and looks like a rather lovely deep rich shade. "Forget the LBD," says Alder. "It's all about the LRL 'little red lipstick'. Karen Alder got help from the Prince's Trust when she was starting out, so it's lovely that she's trying to give something back.
