Since black eyeliner is one of my life staples (along with food and oxygen), I'm always up for trying out new ones - this week I've been playing with Maybelline New York's exciting new Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner.
The little screw-top pot holds a creamy, deep black and richly-pigmented formula that I found really easy to apply: it glides on perfectly - I made one of the most precise flicks ever with it. The eyeliner comes with its own brush too - and not one of the rubbish ones you usually get with a product but a nice long handled one with a flat, thick nib, so creating different styles is really simple.
Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner lived up to its name too - it lasts ages without flaking, smudging or fading away. Sadly I haven't been using it as much as I'd like: it keeps going missing and mysteriously turning up in my housemate's rooms - clearly I'm not the only fan.
Want to try it for yourself? You can get it from Boots here for £7.99, and check out Maybelline's Facebook page here for more information and how to's.
