Summer is here and legs are being bared to the world without the comfort of those Falke 100 denier tights. Make sure they're in tip top shape by defuzzing, moisturising and massaging. I'm always loathe to suggest a cream can 'cure' cellulite as the body doesn't work that way, but there is proof that regular massage of products on the leg can help ease the dimpled appearance.
I've been trying out a brand new anti cellulite product from Nuxe and here are my findings. The product comes in a slim plastic tube and is easy to dispense. A little product goes quite a long way, so you only need one pump per area. The cream is quite rich but non greasy and massages nicely into the skin, quickly getting absorbed and drying, so there's not too much waiting around to dress whilst it dries (a personal hate).
The cream feels nice on the hands and leaves the thighs feeling quite soft and silky. After a month of use I found that my thighs looked smoother than before, and I was receiving compliments on the quality of my skin. The Nuxe anti cellulite product actually comes in two varieties- the Body Contouring serum I was using and Body Contouring oil as well. The difference is that one is for 'embedded' cellulite and one is for 'infiltrated' cellulite. Nuxe define 'embedded' as a 'quilted appearance when you pinch skin' whilst 'infiltrated' is for those who suffer from water retention, I think it might be hard to work out which type you have, but I like the idea that they're catering to everyone.
One of the reasons the cream feels so nice to use is because of the cocoa and flower extracts it contains as it almost feels like Cocoa Butter Lite. There are the usual complex list of ingredients, including Caffeine, Glaucine extract and Cocoa Polyphenols, and I felt it did achieve some effect.
This won't 'cure' you of cellulite but is a good step on your path to a leaner healthier body.
