cheryl_sarah_jessica_big_hair.jpgEarlier this week Cheryl Cole astounded many when she seemed to challenge the laws of physics to see just how big she could get her hair for the first day of auditions for The X-Factor USA.

Seriously, it was massive. And then just when the tabloids seemed to get over it, Sarah Jessica Parker rocks up at a charity event with hair double the width of her waist and it blew up again (although she didn't realise - after she said that she just matched her hair to the era of her dress and hadn't noticed the buzz around it).

So is this a trend you'll be following? If so you're going to need quite a tool kit. Check after the cut for products that will help you amp up the volume.
