Thumbnail image for mac-style-black.jpgM.A.C are the official Beauty Partners of the BAFTA's again this year and today they gave us a little sneak peak of the MAC Beauty Suite at the The Pelham Hotel, where nominees and presenters will be getting glammed up for the ceremony on May 22nd.

I talked to M.A.C Senior Makeup Artist Debbie Finnegan as she was making me pretty and begged her to tell me some of the tricks she uses to get her clients ready for the red carpet - it's all about longevity apparently. "We have to make sure they're looking perfect for as long as possible," she said.

This means primer will be a key part of the beautifying process - which M.A.C definitely have covered with their huge collection of 11 different products to do the job - and artists will also be using MAC Paint Pots to keep eye colour crease free ("They literally do not budge", Debbie enthuses).

We're looking forward to seeing all the beauty on the night - check back here for Debbie's breakdown of beauty trends for S/S11, and find out how you can adapt them for everyday wear. Oh, and if you want to see Debbie's masterwork on my face, check out Kiss and Makeup's twitter account here!
