The hair was where the action was at for yesterday's Alexis Mabille Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2011/2012 show. While faces were mostly understated - aside from red lips - the model's hair was the most interesting part of the look.
Deceptively simple from the front, a glance at the back reveals hair pulled back and criss-crossed up into elegant updo's and sleek ponytails, then interwoven with feathers to match the "animal-esque" tone of the show. The dramna of the look ranged from tiny feathers only just distinguishable from the models own hair, to long ones falling into pony's to a couple of massively outlandish ones sticking right across the catwalk.
Bad news for the fly fishers of America then, looks like the feather trend will be going into winter!
