valentino_couture_anne_hathaway.jpgThe beauty at the Valentino Haute Couture AW11 show was beautiful, nymph-like and enchanting - and Anne Hathaway sitting in the front row clearly took notice.

Models floating down the catwalk looking like medieval fairies with ethereal pink cheeks, bare brows, pink lips, and accents of gleaming gold along the cupids bow and inner eye. Almost more interesting then the makeup though was the hair: pulled back in loose tendrils by Guido Palau, it was braided into loose, low-lying chignons and woven through with gilded, bejeweled wire headbands.

Anne Hathaway must have agreed with the looks' creator, beauty legend Pat McGrath when she called it "ultra-pretty", because she adopted it herself only a few hours later at the White Fairy Tale Love Ball (left and centre), although she arranged her headdress in a loosely laid coronet.

Gorgeous.
