I like to wear a lighter foundation is summer, as heavy ones feel clogging and tend to melt. I also like to up my SPF in summer (understandably) and was pleased to learn that the Foundation primer by Paul & Joe was a SPF 15 - the minimum I'll wear (and I layer this with an SPF30 on top). In true Paul & Joe style, the bottle is stunning, girlishly decadent with forties nostalgia elements, a lovely glass bottle and feminine cap.
It's available in three shades, and has a lovely soft texture- feeling nice to touch and leaves the skin feeling nourished. The idea is that you use this as a primer to help your makeup stay on longer, and whilst this is great in winter, in summer I find this primer is enough on its own. Its skin smoothing qualities leave you with a light dewy finish and your skin feels soft and light after application.
The creamy texture feels like it has been air whipped, and it strokes, rather than covers the face, letting your natural skin shine through.
