It might be only July still but we thought we'd give you a sneak peek at Revlon's Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection - Expressionists. Designed for Revlon by makeup artist extraordinaire and Revlon's own creative director Gucci Westman, the collection features four products in various shades; ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick, Super Lustrous Lipstick, the limited edition Bordeaux in the Snow Lip Gloss Palette and two shades of Nail Enamel.
Inspired by the Abstract Expressionism movement, Gucci explains that she was influenced by classic works of art, particularly by the transition from black and white pieces into colour. "I loved their use of colors, textures and composition and the freeness it implied," she explained. "I integrated this into my collection by mixing textures for lips and nails and playing with shades - ranging from neutral beiges to bold violets, pinks and Bordeaux. I wanted this collection to reflect a piece of art."
We're particularly excited about the black and purple Facets of Fuchsia Nail Enamel, which was used on the nails of the models for Rag and Bone's SS11 show - doesn't it look amazing?
Prices start from £6.49, and the collection will be in Boots and Superdrug in October.
